The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports, “As many as a dozen Fortune 500 companies, such as Hewlett-Packard Co. (1,800 employees) and United Parcel Service Inc. (1,600 employees), call Central Perimeter home. The area also hosts major health-care facilities including Saint Joseph's Hospital (3,000 employees) and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (2,500 employees). And, of course, there is Perimeter Mall, comprising more than 1.5 million square feet of leasable space. In addition, mixed-use developments have taken root in the fertile Central Perimeter soil, such as The Sembler Co.'s $165 million Perimeter Place and Abernathy 400, a $270 million joint project involving Atlanta real estate firm Ackerman & Co., Russell New Urban Development and multifamily housing specialist Lane Co.”

Yet, with all the new development, Dunwoody still has plenty of green space, superb schools, and Brook Run Park, a fabulous 102 acre park that features paved sidewalks, play areas for kids with ground rubber surfaces and plenty of picnic pavilions!  In addition, the Brook Run features the largest skate park in the metro Atlanta area, consisting of a variety of skate terrain for all skill levels!
